Dr. John Pitts has been practicing Regenerative Medicine and Interventional Orthopedics exclusively for 10 years. He works at the Centeno Schultz Clinic in Broomfield Colorado and part of the Regenexx Network of Physicians. Dr. Pitts received his medical education at Vanderbilt School of medicine in Nashville and then completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After residency he completed a 1 year fellowship in regenerative medicine and interventional orthopedics at the Centeno Schultz Clinic where he works now. He serves as the fellowship director and helps to train new Regenexx Physicians. He regularly uses orthobiologics such as prolotherapy, neuroprolotherapy, PRP, platelet lysate, bone marrow concentrate, micronized adipose tissue graft, and cultured expanded bone marrow MSCs (in Grand Cayman). He is co-editor of the Atlas of Interventional Orthopedics which is a textbook on the principles, research, and image guided procedural techniques used for non-surgical orthopedic and regenerative medicine. Dr. Pitts has thus far co-authored 3 peer reviewed articles relating to regenerative treatments and has written a nutritional pamphlet called Nutrition 2.0.
